tom odell's debut album "long way down" communicates the emotional complexities of a young adult coming of age in the modern era. the proposed album cover design attempts to mimic that complexity, reflecting the raw pain and beauty that odell shares through his music. the intimate nature of the music is visualized through the use of script typography and emotional photographs of odell performing to an invisible audience. in addition to a physical album spread, the collection includes graphic imagery intended for digital use. all photographs used were shot and edited by myself.
